Syntax Creative Offers Clients Free Mental Health and Recovery Coaching

Syntax Creative has partnered with Reality Co. Nashville to provide free certified coaching services to artists, songwriters and musicians represented by the distributor.

The program covers mental health, trauma, addiction, recovery, life coaching and temperament. Services are available to Syntax clients at no cost, although participants may make optional donations to Reality Co.

“Finances should never be a barrier to receiving help,” Syntax Creative CEO Timothy J. Trudeau said. “That’s the heart behind this partnership.”

Clients interested in participating can contact the Syntax team for an introduction to Reality Co. Sessions may be conducted by phone, video conference or in person at Syntax Creative’s offices in Franklin, Tennessee.

Reality Co. will manage the sessions independently, and conversations between participants and its coaching team will remain confidential from Syntax.

The program provides certified coaching rather than clinical diagnosis, psychotherapy or other treatment delivered by a licensed medical provider. Its purpose is to give members of the creative community another source of practical and personal support.

Reality Co. founder Phil Covert said artists frequently encounter personal and professional pressures that can be difficult to manage without help.

“We’ve seen firsthand the challenges that artists face in their personal and professional lives,” Covert said. “This partnership allows us to meet them where they are and provide meaningful, transformative support.”

The partnership follows a mental health panel hosted by Syntax Creative and Reality Co. during Dove Awards week. The discussion included specialists and people with firsthand experience navigating mental health challenges.

“The panel sparked conversations that need to happen,” Covert said. “We hope this partnership continues that momentum and shows artists they’re not alone.”

Trudeau said the program extends Syntax’s relationship with clients beyond distributing and marketing their music.

“The mental health of an artist is of utmost importance,” he said. “This partnership is an extension of our commitment to our clients’ overall well-being. We’re honored to join forces with Reality Co. Nashville, knowing the profound impact this can have on our community.”
