Cole Brown is an author, pastor and church planter who founded and led the multiethnic Emmaus Church in Portland, Oregon. He later served as a missionary in Mexico City, training pastors and church planters. A graduate of Western Seminary, Brown is the author of several books, including Lies My Pastor Told Me, Lies Hip Hop Told Me, The Gospel Is and Daddy Issues. Before entering ministry, he worked in hip-hop as an A&R representative for producer Teddy Riley.
