Kari Jobe Announces 20-City Majestic Tour With Warren Barfield

Leading worship is at the heart of Kari Jobe’s ministry. Making God’s name known is the focus of her latest worship album, Majestic, and the 2014 Majestic Tour.

Following a spring tour and a series of international Nights of Worship concerts during the summer, Jobe will begin the 20-date fall leg of the Majestic Tour with special guest Warren Barfield. The tour will feature songs from Majestic and highlight Jobe’s ability to lead audiences in worship.

Majestic was recorded live at the historic Majestic Theatre in Jobe’s hometown of Dallas and features the single “Forever.”

Jobe also released her first full-length live concert DVD. The DVD is included with the physical deluxe edition of Majestic, along with bonus songs and footage of the full concert.

“I am so excited about my new album, Majestic,” Jobe said. “My passion in life is to lead worship and help people connect to the presence of God. Worship changes the atmosphere of our lives and makes us more aware of his presence at work in and through us. I cannot wait for people to connect with these new songs and fill the earth with more worship to our majestic King.”

Jobe’s co-writers on Majestic include Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Reuben Morgan, Brian Johnson, Jason Ingram and Paul Baloche, along with members of her band and several other songwriters. The album features new worship anthems written for congregational use.

“I wrote for this album for a solid two years and was able to co-write with some friends who absolutely have a heart to write for the church,” Jobe said. “I am very excited for these new songs. And I am really looking forward to the Majestic Tour with Warren Barfield. We are going to have a crazy good time in God’s presence and worshipping him together.”

Majestic follows Jobe’s sophomore album, Where I Find You, which earned her first Grammy nomination.

Where I Find You debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart and No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Its singles, “We Are” and “Steady My Heart,” found success on Christian adult contemporary and National Christian Audience radio charts.

The album also received praise from media outlets including Worship Leader and The New York Times.
