Tooth & Nail Records has announced the signing of Kings Kaleidoscope.
The Seattle-based alternative worship band previously released four EPs featuring its distinctive, high-energy blend of classic and modern hymns. Its new album, Becoming Who We Are, is scheduled for release this fall.
Fans can preorder the album now through packages available at kingskaleidoscope.com. An iTunes preorder and additional options will be announced soon.
“We are stoked to have Kings Kaleidoscope as part of our roster,” Tooth & Nail founder and President Brandon Ebel said. “We look for unique and creative artists that are doing things differently, and Kings Kaleidoscope fits that bill. We can’t wait to see what is to come with this group and their upcoming album.”
Kings Kaleidoscope is a 10-member band built around drums, bass, keyboards and guitars, along with orchestral elements including violins, cellos, woodwinds, trombones, trumpets and vibraphones.
Drawing from hip-hop and the intensity of bands such as The Mars Volta, Kings Kaleidoscope moves between dramatic musical extremes while emphasizing creativity, musicality and authenticity.
“We’re excited to be partnering with Tooth & Nail for the release of our self-produced, self-funded debut LP,” frontman Chad Gardner said. “It’s encouraging to work with a label that knows how to operate in a changing industry. We’re honored to work together to put this album in as many hands as possible.”
