WieRok Entertainment has entered a distribution partnership with Syntax Creative, beginning with new releases from Sean BE and Madaline Garcia Heriges.
The Franklin, Tennessee-based company operates across music, film and book publishing while offering label, artist-management and studio services. Its recording facility gives WieRok the ability to develop projects internally rather than depending entirely on outside production resources.
“The story of Syntax is similar to WieRok in that it’s a product of passion,” WieRok Chief Operating Officer Tammie Wieland said. “Syntax has the team and vision to propel us even further.”
Wieland said the pace of change in digital distribution makes partnerships with forward-thinking companies increasingly important for reaching a larger audience.
The first release under the agreement is Sean BE’s “Step Into My Story,” available today. Madaline Garcia Heriges will follow June 17 with Adventures in Sleepland, a lullaby project accompanied by a full-color picture book.
“WieRok is positioned to succeed,” Syntax Creative CEO Timothy Trudeau said. “They aren’t just managing artists, they also have one of the finest facilities in town to help their artists create better art.”
WieRok’s roster also includes five-time Dove Award nominee Steven Malcolm, Tyrone Crawford, T.S. Wieland, Tyler Moody and Mario Romero.
Lance Wieland brings 35 years of business experience to the company, which is expanding its creative operations at a time when many entertainment firms are reducing their internal capabilities.
“Many are only as good as the outsourcing they’ve secured,” Trudeau said. “WieRok strategically positions themselves in a way where they can control the timeline and quality, which of course gives them an advantage.”
WieRok describes its mission as building a community of creatives and business professionals equipped to develop and distribute music, films, books and other content.
“Step Into My Story” is available now, while Adventures in Sleepland arrives June 17.
