The Slower I Go has released “Rejoice,” a bright contemporary worship single featuring Noah Priebe.
Built around the familiar language of Psalm 118:24, the song treats joy less like a passing emotion and more like a deliberate response. Its central refrain draws from the declaration, “This is the day that the Lord has made,” placing the track firmly in the long tradition of worship songs that turn Scripture into something meant to be sung in a room full of people.
“Rejoice” pairs that familiar foundation with polished pop production, rising melodies and a chorus designed for immediate participation. The lyrics encourage listeners to loosen their grip on anxiety, regret and the assorted luggage people insist on carrying long after the trip has ended.
The Slower I Go includes Priebe, Brooklyn Summer, Dacey Lane and Logan York. The group grew out of shared songwriting and informal worship sessions before developing into a recording project focused on Scripture-centered songs.
The collective previously released “All or Nothing,” “What Kind of Friend?,” “All Eyes on You” and “SHOCK!,” a collaboration with Zane Walls.
