Syntax Creative has added four independent labels to its distribution roster: Outside Voices Entertainment, Sunday Worship Records, Apex Global Music Group and Arena Creative Services.
The new partnerships expand the distributor’s catalog across children’s music, instrumental worship, sync licensing and artist development.
Outside Voices Entertainment is led by Daniel Martin and Stefani Rose Martin. The company is best known for Martin and Rose Music, a children’s catalog with more than 1 million monthly Spotify listeners and more than 100 million streams worldwide.
The label was created to help artists release music through a more sustainable model, with an emphasis on long-term planning rather than financing growth through avoidable debt.
“Our focus has always been on helping artists make bold moves without putting themselves in a hole,” Martin said. “Syntax has been willing to slow down, think strategically and help us plan releases in a way that actually makes sense long term.”
Sunday Worship Records was founded by gospel musician Matt Fouch and focuses on instrumental arrangements of hymns and worship songs.
The label’s catalog spans several musical styles and is designed for listeners using instrumental worship music during prayer, work, study and other quiet parts of daily life.
“I started releasing instrumental worship music because I know we all need those quiet times in our life, and this music is designed to enhance those moments,” Fouch said. “It helps people stay grounded, even when there aren’t words being sung.”
Apex Global Music Group is led by songwriter and producer Shay Watson. His work has appeared in more than 75 television series and films, with a catalog that includes pop, jazz, ambient, country and world music.
The company is built largely around sync licensing and the long-term value of music created for television, film and other visual media.
“Most of my career has lived behind the scenes in sync,” Watson said. “The digital marketplace has challenges, but it also creates opportunity if you approach it intentionally.”
Arena Creative Services is a newly formed label led by Nashville engineer Warren David.
David’s previous work includes Grammy Award-winning and Dove Award-winning projects, RIAA-certified releases and production in stereo and immersive audio formats. Arena Creative will apply that experience to artist development, release planning and technical support.
“I’ve spent years solving problems most listeners never hear about,” David said. “What stood out to me about Syntax was their integrity and how seriously they take execution.”
Syntax Creative CEO Timothy J. Trudeau said the four companies arrive with established experience rather than beginning as untested label concepts.
“They’ve put in the time, learned how to pivot and built something real,” Trudeau said. “That kind of experience changes the conversation from day one.”
Each label is expected to begin releasing new music through Syntax Creative in the coming months.
