Nick Chandler and Delivered have released Look For Me, their first full-length album since 2022’s Silver Bird. The 10-track Pinecastle Records release mixes original material with new versions of songs from across bluegrass history.
The album takes its name from its latest single, “Look For Me And I’ll Be There,” written by Doyle Lawson and Randall Colwell. Chandler recorded the song as a tribute to his wife, Trudy, because the lyrics have long held special meaning for the couple.
“I am so excited to finally release this long-awaited album,” Chandler said. “We’ve been doing a few of these tunes on the road, and we have so much fun sharing these songs that we’ve worked so hard on.”
The project follows a run of previously released songs including “Hazel Creek,” “Old Devil’s Dream,” “Follow The Leader” and Chandler’s original “Maria.” According to the label, each of the singles reached national bluegrass charts.
Look For Me also includes Gary Trivette’s “Swept,” Jake Burrows’ instrumental “Don’t Cry For Me” and “Never Did No Wanderin’,” written by Michael John McKean and Harry Shearer.
Nick Chandler and Delivered features Chandler on mandolin and lead vocals, Trivette on bass and vocals, Burrows on banjo and Spencer Atkinson on guitar and tenor vocals. The band is based in Western North Carolina.
