Crossroads Label Group is reshaping its leadership team and moving into new offices as the company enters its next chapter under President and CEO Scott Wagner.
The Asheville-area music company announced three internal promotions, one new executive hire and a relocation to Fletcher, North Carolina.
Audrey Fletcher has been promoted to vice president of marketing, Greg Bentley to vice president of A&R – Christian, and Aynsley Porchak to director of digital marketing.
Crossroads has also hired Justin Hiltner as vice president of A&R – Roots.
Justin Hiltner Joins Crossroads Label Group
Hiltner will relocate to western North Carolina for the new role, which places him over A&R for the company’s roots-oriented music.
His background includes work across bluegrass, folk and Americana, along with a long history with Crossroads and its artists.
“I started playing the banjo when I was seven years old, so I’ve been listening to Mountain Home artists my entire life,” Hiltner said.
He has also recorded at the company’s studio and previously released music through Mountain Home Music Company, including a 2018 project with Roland White.
Hiltner said his approach to roots music centers on honest storytelling and giving traditional forms the care they deserve.
“Two of my primary missions in roots music have always been first, to tell honest, grounded stories about these musical styles and traditions and second, to give all forms of roots music – bluegrass, folk, Americana, gospel, and beyond – the treatment, care, and esteem they deserve.”
Three Crossroads Staff Members Move Into New Roles
The restructuring also moves several longtime staff members into larger leadership positions.
Fletcher will now oversee marketing as vice president of marketing, while Bentley takes the role of vice president of A&R – Christian.
Porchak moves into the director of digital marketing position.
Wagner said the promotions reflect both the company’s recent growth and its plans for the future.
“We’re also investing in the leadership that will carry us into the future,” Wagner said.
Crossroads Relocates to Fletcher, North Carolina
The company has also moved into new offices at 145 Cane Creek Industrial Park Road, Suite 125, in Fletcher.
Crossroads described the new space as part of a broader effort to support collaboration as the company expands.
The move comes during a period of transition for Crossroads following the death of longtime company leader Mickey Gamble earlier this year.
After Gamble’s death, the board named Wagner president and CEO and elected Jon Weisberger chairman.
Now, the new hires, promotions and offices give that leadership team a more defined structure as Crossroads moves forward.
