The 2025 Dove Awards nominations are in, and Brandon Lake once again has a busy night ahead of him.
Lake leads the artist nominees for the 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards with nine nominations, including Artist of the Year and multiple appearances in Song of the Year.
The Artist of the Year field also includes CeCe Winans, Forrest Frank, Josiah Queen, Lauren Daigle and Phil Wickham. New Artist of the Year nominees include Abbie Gamboa, Caleb Gordon, Leanna Crawford, Patrick Mayberry and Strings and Heart.
This year’s nominees were selected from more than 2,800 submitted entries. That is a great deal of music, paperwork and optimism compressed into one final ballot.
The field also includes a wide-ranging group of first-time nominees, including Jelly Roll, Megan Woods, Jamie MacDonald, bodie, Miles Minnick, Gracie Binion, High Road, JWLKRS Worship and The Belonging Co.

The 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be held Oct. 7 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Tauren Wells will host the ceremony under this year’s theme, “Creation Sings.”
The awards will air Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern on TBN and the TBN+ app, with a simulcast on SiriusXM’s The Message.
