Erica Lane Takes Your Burden Down With New EP

Erica Lane will release her new five-song EP, Take Your Burden Down, April 1 through Saylors Brothers Entertainment.

Bryan Lenox produced the project, which includes the new radio single “Burden.” Lenox’s credits include work with Michael W. Smith, The Katinas and Enrique Iglesias.

Lane said relationships shaped much of the new material.

“I am thrilled about this new album, because it is very relationship driven, and I find that relationships with people, good or bad, are what drive us in life,” Lane said.

She added that collaborating with other musicians and writers helped shape the finished project.

Erica Lane Builds the EP Around Relationships

Take Your Burden Down follows Lane’s work as both a singer and songwriter, with the five-song format keeping the focus tight.

“Burden” leads the project and gives the EP its clearest introduction. The song pairs Lane’s pop-oriented vocals with lyrics centered on carrying emotional weight and finding relief from it.

The release also continues Lane’s work beyond traditional album projects. Her music has appeared in film and television, including the 2014 documentary Veil of Tears.

“Burden” Leads Into the April Release

Lane is preparing to support the EP with spring touring beginning in April.

Take Your Burden Down arrives April 1 through Saylors Brothers Entertainment. “Burden” is available as a digital download through Amazon.
