Canadian collective HOMECOMING has released “yours.,” a new single centered on surrender, trust and the tension between weakness and faithfulness.
Abigail Markham wrote the song, while Canyon Lewis produced it. The pair also worked on HOMECOMING’s earlier single “the cost (given for us).”
Rather than asking for circumstances to change, “yours.” focuses on releasing personal ambition and trusting God through both difficult and hopeful seasons.
The song moves from quieter verses into a larger chorus built around the declaration, “I am Yours.” That progression gives the track a personal tone without losing the kind of structure that works in a group setting.
HOMECOMING has spent the past four years traveling throughout British Columbia for youth conferences, rallies and community events. The group includes musicians from Vancouver, Kelowna and Edmonton.
Its recent music reflects that live background, pairing modern worship production with lyrics about dependence, trust and spiritual reflection.
The group cites SEU Worship, UPPERROOM and Bethel Music among its influences, though “yours.” keeps its message simple. The song stays focused on trust rather than trying to turn surrender into something more complicated than it is.
