Syntax Creative Adds Four Labels Across Children’s Music, Worship and Sync

Syntax Creative has added four independent labels to its distribution roster: Outside Voices Entertainment, Sunday Worship Records, Apex Global Music Group and Arena Creative Services. The new Syntax Creative distribution partnerships span children’s music, instrumental worship, sync licensing and artist development.

Each company brings an established catalog or industry experience rather than starting as an untested label concept. The additions continue Syntax Creative’s work with independent labels across a wide range of genres and business models, including its earlier distribution partnership with Old Bear Records.

Four Additions to Syntax Creative Distribution

Outside Voices Entertainment is led by Daniel Martin and Stefani Rose Martin. The company is best known for Martin and Rose Music, a children’s catalog with more than 1 million monthly Spotify listeners and more than 100 million streams worldwide.

The Martins built the label around a more sustainable model for independent artists. Their approach emphasizes long-term planning rather than financing growth through avoidable debt.

“Our focus has always been on helping artists make bold moves without putting themselves in a hole,” Martin said. “Syntax has been willing to slow down, think strategically and help us plan releases in a way that actually makes sense long term.”

Sunday Worship Records enters a different corner of the market. Gospel musician Matt Fouch founded the label around instrumental arrangements of hymns and worship songs.

Its catalog spans several musical styles. The music is designed for listeners who want instrumental worship during prayer, work, study and other quiet parts of daily life.

“I started releasing instrumental worship music because I know we all need those quiet times in our life, and this music is designed to enhance those moments,” Fouch said. “It helps people stay grounded, even when there aren’t words being sung.”

Apex Global Music Group brings a catalog built largely around sync licensing. Songwriter and producer Shay Watson leads the company. His work has appeared in more than 75 television series and films.

The Apex catalog includes pop, jazz, ambient, country and world music. Its business model emphasizes the long-term value of music created for television, film and other visual media.

“Most of my career has lived behind the scenes in sync,” Watson said. “The digital marketplace has challenges, but it also creates opportunity if you approach it intentionally.”

Arena Creative Services rounds out the four additions. Nashville engineer Warren David leads the newly formed company.

David’s previous work includes Grammy Award-winning and Dove Award-winning projects. He has also worked on RIAA-certified releases and production in stereo and immersive audio formats. Arena Creative will apply that experience to artist development, release planning and technical support.

“I’ve spent years solving problems most listeners never hear about,” David said. “What stood out to me about Syntax was their integrity and how seriously they take execution.”

Syntax Creative CEO Timothy J. Trudeau said the four companies arrive with experience that should move the relationships quickly beyond the basics of building a label.

“They’ve put in the time, learned how to pivot and built something real,” Trudeau said. “That kind of experience changes the conversation from day one.”

Outside Voices Entertainment, Sunday Worship Records, Apex Global Music Group and Arena Creative Services plan to begin releasing new music through Syntax Creative in the coming months.
