A Matter of Faith follows Rachel Whitaker, a Christian freshman beginning her first year of college. Played by Jordan Trovillion, Rachel soon finds herself influenced by a popular biology professor who challenges what she believes about the origins of life.
Harry Anderson plays the professor, who teaches evolution as the answer to where life came from.
Meanwhile, Rachel’s father, Stephen Whitaker, begins to notice a change in his daughter. Jay Pickett plays the concerned father, who starts looking more closely at what is happening at her school.
What he discovers catches him completely off guard.
Concerned that Rachel is drifting away from her Christian faith, Stephen decides he has to do something about it. That puts a father, his daughter and her professor at the center of a conflict over faith, science and what Rachel ultimately believes.
