‘A Matter of Faith’ Puts Creation Against Evolution

A Matter of Faith follows Rachel Whitaker, a Christian freshman beginning her first year of college.

Played by Jordan Trovillion, Rachel soon finds herself influenced by a popular biology professor who challenges what she believes about the origins of life.

Harry Anderson plays Professor Marcus Kaman, who teaches evolution and begins pushing Rachel to reconsider the creationist beliefs she brought with her to college.

Meanwhile, Rachel’s father, Stephen Whitaker, begins to notice a change in his daughter.

Jay Pickett plays the concerned father, who starts looking more closely at what is happening at her school.

What he discovers catches him completely off guard.

Concerned that Rachel is drifting away from her Christian faith, Stephen decides he has to do something about it.

That decision puts a father, his daughter and her professor at the center of a conflict over creation, evolution and what Rachel ultimately believes.
