The 2021 Grammy nominations are in, and Beyoncé is leading the field once again.
She earned nine nominations, including Record and Song of the Year for “Black Parade.” Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Roddy Ricch follow with six nominations each.
The Album of the Year category brings together Jhené Aiko, Black Pumas, Coldplay, Jacob Collier, Haim, Dua Lipa, Post Malone and Swift. The field covers pop, R&B, rock and experimental music, along with enough pandemic-era introspection to make isolation sound almost productive.
Billie Eilish returns to the general field with nominations for “Everything I Wanted,” while Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Phoebe Bridgers and Ingrid Andress are among the eight artists competing for Best New Artist.
Gospel and Christian music nominees include Jonathan McReynolds, Mali Music, Travis Greene, Lecrae, Kirk Franklin, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Elevation Worship, Tauren Wells, Zach Williams, Dolly Parton, Anthony Brown, Kierra Sheard, We The Kingdom and Hillsong Young & Free.
