Amber Lynn and Chris Blue bring two gospel traditions together on “And It Changes Everything,” available now through Sonlite Records.
The duet pairs Lynn’s Southern Gospel background with the pop-gospel style Blue displayed while winning season 12 of NBC’s The Voice. Instead of forcing either singer into the other’s musical world, the arrangement gives both voices room to lead.
Barry Weeks produced the single. Lynn wrote it with Kenna Turner West and Jason Cox around the belief that God’s grace can change what once appeared fixed.
“This song is a reminder that love, hope and the grace of God have the power to change anything and everything,” Lynn said.
Two Gospel Voices Meet on One Song
Lynn first became known as a founding member of 11th Hour. Her solo releases have since allowed her to draw more directly from her own writing while retaining the vocal strength associated with the trio.
She also recently provided harmony vocals for Lauren Talley’s version of “Testimony,” another recording that reaches beyond strict Southern Gospel boundaries.
Blue brings a different path to the collaboration. His national breakthrough came through The Voice, where his flexible delivery moved among gospel, soul and contemporary pop. More recently, his appearance with Gaither Vocal Band and Gene McDonald on “Hard Trials Will Soon Be Over” earned a place among the 2026 GMA Dove Awards nominees.
Those backgrounds make “And It Changes Everything” more than a guest vocal placed onto an Amber Lynn single. Their voices meet naturally in the middle, with Blue adding a soulful lift while Lynn keeps the song rooted in the direct storytelling of Southern Gospel.
The release follows Lynn’s summer single “Till We’re Together” and continues the solo chapter she began while remaining connected to 11th Hour.
