Sean Rodriguez’s “It Is Finished,” featuring Disciple, has surpassed 4 million Spotify streams and is closing in on 10 million across five major digital music services.
WieRok Records reports that the original recording has generated more than 8.8 million streams across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and Pandora.
A radio edit released on Rodriguez’s Jesus Will EP adds more than 632,000 streams. Combined, the two versions have surpassed 9.4 million plays across those services.
The milestone comes nearly two years after Rodriguez released “It Is Finished” on Oct. 25, 2024.
‘It Is Finished’ Keeps Finding Listeners
Spotify accounts for the largest share of the song’s reported audience, with more than 4.05 million streams on the original recording.
WieRok reports another 1.8 million streams from Pandora and more than 1.3 million from Apple Music. Amazon Music has contributed more than 937,000, while YouTube Music has generated more than 680,000.
The numbers extend a run that previously made “It Is Finished” Rodriguez’s biggest Christian rock radio release.
The song spent 10 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Christian Music Weekly Rock Chart between December 2024 and March 2025. It ultimately remained on the chart for 33 consecutive weeks.
That success is unusual within Rodriguez’s catalog because Christian rock is not his primary radio lane. Most of his music has focused more directly on Christian AC.
Disciple Collaboration Became a Breakthrough
Rodriguez wrote “It Is Finished” with Will Strotz. Greg “GREGATRON” Williams produced the recording, which pairs Rodriguez with Disciple vocalist Kevin Young.
Disciple guitarist Josiah Prince also appears on the track, alongside drummer Lester Estelle Jr. and Williams on bass and keyboards.
The collaboration gave Rodriguez a natural bridge into rock without requiring him to rebuild his entire sound around the format.
Instead, one song developed into a significant part of his catalog. Radio helped introduce it, while streaming continued extending its reach after the initial release cycle.

‘Jesus Will’ Passes 15 Million Streams
The broader Jesus Will EP has also continued growing.
According to WieRok, tracks from the project have now surpassed 15.4 million combined streams across the same five services.
The title track and its Spanish-language counterpart, “Jesús Lo Hará,” account for more than 3.18 million of that total.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez has returned more directly to Christian AC with his 2026 single “Just Like God.” WieRok reports more than 650,000 streams for the song as it continues receiving radio airplay.
That single will anchor Rodriguez’s forthcoming Just Like God EP, scheduled for Sept. 25.
The project will also include “God Is On My Side,” “The Day He Made” and the heavier “Devil Can’t Have Me.” The latter returns to some of the rap-rock energy that helped “It Is Finished” reach a different part of Rodriguez’s audience.
Nearly two years after its release, “It Is Finished” is no longer simply a successful single from an earlier release cycle. It has become the song that proved Rodriguez could move into rock, stay there long enough to build an audience and carry some of those listeners into what comes next.
